We are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our bustling warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently gather products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their correct items in a timely manner. You'll utilize RF scanners and other technology to navigate the warehouse and manage your picking tasks. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority; therefore, compliance with all safety regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are non-negotiable. The position requires physical exertion, including significant walking, bending, and Lifting. Join our team and contribute to the seamless flow of goods through our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using a pick list or RF scanner.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Consistently meet picking performance targets.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
