We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves, meticulously packing them for shipment, and ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and correctly. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing handheld scanners and other warehouse technology to manage inventory and track orders. Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, stooping, and walking throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label and prepare shipments for outgoing carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and handling of goods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
