We are actively recruiting for a Warehouse Associate position at our Columbus, Ohio location. This is a vital role within our distribution center, responsible for a wide range of warehouse activities that ensure the efficient flow of goods. You will contribute to receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping processes. Your commitment to accuracy and operational efficiency is essential to our logistics success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and fulfill customer orders accurately using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product safety.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks for delivery.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory management activities such as cycle counts.
- Must be able to perform manual Lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of and adherence to Safety protocols and the use of PPE .
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent Lifting throughout the shift.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
