We are looking for a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role is essential for ensuring that our outgoing orders are accurately prepared, documented, and dispatched to our customers on time. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, generating shipping labels, verifying order contents, and preparing packages for various carriers. A meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical for success in this position. This role plays a key part in our logistics operations, contributing to customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate order fulfillment. We prioritize workplace Safety and expect all employees to follow established protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments according to established procedures.
- Generate shipping labels and accurately document shipment details.
- Verify order contents against packing lists and customer orders.
- Package items securely and appropriately for transit.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Ensure the shipping area is clean, organized, and compliant with Safety regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Communicate with warehouse and customer service teams regarding shipment status.
- Assist with other shipping and receiving duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and computer systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and order verification.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate physical exertion, including occasional Lifting.
- Understanding of logistics processes and shipping regulations.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
