Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. As a key player in our logistics network, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse. This role involves receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and contribute to the overall success of our distribution center. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively. This position offers opportunities for growth and development within our expanding logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
  • Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, maintaining organization and cleanliness.
  • Efficiently pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and shipping deadlines.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and proficiently (training provided if necessary).
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly operational targets.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Assist with shipping preparations, including labeling and staging orders for delivery.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
