Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Reach Truck Operator for our distribution center in Omaha, Nebraska. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for operating reach trucks to manage inventory efficiently and safely. This role is essential for maintaining product flow, optimizing storage space, and ensuring accurate inventory records. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate reach trucks to transport, position, and retrieve inventory.
  • Load and unload freight from trailers and onto racks or shelves.
  • Perform accurate put-away and retrieval of products within the warehouse.
  • Conduct daily inspections of reach truck equipment and report any issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage locations.
  • Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper use of all required PPE while on duty.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience and valid certification operating a reach truck.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience required.
  • Capability for lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a demanding physical environment, including working at heights.
  • Commitment to adhering to strict safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
