We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our Kansas City, Missouri team as Picker/Packers. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the correct orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary duties will involve picking items from warehouse shelves according to order lists and then carefully packing them for shipment. A strong focus on accuracy and speed is essential, as is a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This position is a fundamental part of our logistics operation, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We value teamwork and a dedication to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Must be capable of repeated Lifting of items weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, supporting the broader logistics team.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and work towards collective goals.
- Ensure all orders are processed promptly to meet shipping deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse environments is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions carefully.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
