We are seeking experienced and certified Forklift Operators to join our dynamic warehouse team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position is integral to our supply chain and Logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the facility. You will load and unload trucks, transport materials to and from designated areas, and assist with inventory management. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount; adherence to all company policies and OSHA standards is required. Proper use of PPE and a vigilant approach to Safety are non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts and powered industrial equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping/receiving docks.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and case goods to and from storage areas.
- Accurately stack and retrieve merchandise, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and related equipment.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure correct Lifting techniques are used for all loads.
- Consistent use of required PPE is mandatory for all tasks.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. Unwavering commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all safety guidelines. Ability to perform physical tasks including moderate to heavy Lifting . Familiarity with Logistics procedures and WMS. Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and attention to detail. Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Diligent use of PPE is required at all times.
