We are seeking a diligent Order Picker for our warehouse facility in San Francisco, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This involves reading picking tickets, identifying correct products, and using scanning equipment to ensure precision. You will also be responsible for carefully packing items for shipment and ensuring all orders are correctly staged for dispatch. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is vital for operational efficiency and paramount for Safety . Meeting daily picking quotas is expected, requiring focus and efficiency. This position is a key component of our Logistics chain, demanding reliability and accuracy. Strict adherence to Safety protocols and the consistent use of PPE are mandatory, along with proficient Lifting capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and gather items according to order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners and pick lists to locate products efficiently.
- Pack orders securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before preparation for shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, free from hazards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly wear and maintain assigned PPE at all times.
- Apply safe Lifting practices during all physical tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Ability to read and understand order instructions and product labels. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and perform significant Lifting up to 50 lbs. Understanding of Logistics workflow. Strong commitment to workplace Safety and diligent use of PPE . Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
