We are hiring an Inventory Clerk for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining inventory records, and assisting with cycle counts. A meticulous approach to detail and a strong understanding of inventory management principles are essential for success. This position is key to our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. Your role directly impacts our ability to fulfill orders efficiently and maintain customer satisfaction. We are looking for an individual who is organized, methodical, and committed to maintaining a safe and accurate inventory system. The ability to use inventory management software and equipment, such as scanners, is required. We value individuals who take ownership of their responsibilities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Strict adherence to all Safety protocols is expected. Proper use of PPE is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using WMS software.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers.
- Assist with the organization and arrangement of warehouse stock.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Collaborate with warehouse and shipping departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- May involve occasional Lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
- Ensure consistent use of required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics principles.
