Join our thriving logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Forklift Operator! This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be certified or experienced in operating various types of forklifts, possess a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and be committed to maintaining an organized and productive work environment. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting are essential. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth flow of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and internal transfers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with order picking and staging for shipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment before operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Identify and report any maintenance needs for equipment.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management activities.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated proficiency.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
