As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of products throughout the facility. Your duties will encompass receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing items for shipment, playing a key role in our logistics network. This role requires physical exertion, including regular lifting and handling of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods.
- Accurately store materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Pick items for orders with precision and efficiency.
- Pack goods securely for shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Comply with all company safety policies and the use of PPE.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Strong commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
