We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, and store materials. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and locating stock.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
