Join our bustling warehouse team in Columbus, Ohio, as a Warehouse Worker! We are looking for energetic individuals eager to contribute to our daily operations. This role is fundamental to our logistics and fulfillment processes, ensuring that goods are moved, stored, and prepared for shipment efficiently and safely. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety, and all employees are required to follow established procedures and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves regular physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods. Experience with pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment is a plus, but not always required as training will be provided. Become an integral part of our supply chain operations and help us meet our customer demands. We value teamwork and dedication.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move materials to and from storage areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
- Willingness to wear PPE, including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
