Are you a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail? We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy distribution center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your speed and precision directly impact our shipping timelines and customer satisfaction. This position requires the ability to navigate the warehouse, use scanning equipment, and prepare orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations using a pick list or scanning device.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package selected items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage picked orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping aisles clear and products accessible.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all **safety** procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of **PPE**.
- Assist with **Lifting** of boxes and products, typically up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our **logistics** operations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to your supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order information.
Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work at a steady pace and meet productivity goals.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Experience with **Lifting** up to 40 lbs.
Knowledge of **PPE** and **safety** best practices in a warehouse setting.
Understanding of **logistics** workflow.
