Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team as a Material Handler in Fort Worth, Texas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. Your duties will include receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
  • Identify and report damaged materials or equipment.
  • Accurately count and document materials handled.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of warehouse storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Support shipping and receiving functions as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating material handling equipment is required.
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
This role requires considerable physical exertion, including frequent lifting and prolonged periods of standing and operating machinery. Safety is paramount in this role, ensuring the wellbeing of yourself and others within the logistics environment.
