Job Summary:
Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Columbus, Ohio. This role is central to the success of our logistics and warehousing operations, ensuring the precision and reliability of our stock. You will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy through cycle counting, investigating discrepancies, maintaining organized stock areas, and implementing inventory control best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory management systems. You will work closely with warehouse associates to maintain stock integrity and support efficient operations. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues is key. Safety is a top priority; all team members must strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices, to ensure a secure working environment.   • Performing daily and weekly cycle counts of inventory.
  • Investigating and reconciling discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Maintaining organized storage and shelving systems within the warehouse.
  • Developing and implementing procedures to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Monitoring inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Assisting with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper inventory handling.
  • Generating reports on inventory status and accuracy metrics.
  • Tracking the movement of goods within the facility.
  • Collaborating with logistics and operations teams to improve efficiency.
  • Enforcing all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
