We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our busy warehouse in Seattle, Washington. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be responsible for handling materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of goods. This position requires a keen awareness of surroundings, adherence to operational procedures, and a strong commitment to workplace safety . Experience with high-reach equipment and a valid operator certification are essential. You will play a key role in maintaining the flow of goods through our logistics network, ensuring product availability and timely order fulfillment. Proper use of **PPE** is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move and stack palletized goods in a warehouse environment.
- Safely load and unload materials from trailers and storage areas.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper placement and identification of stock.
- Perform daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of **PPE**.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including **Lifting** and moving items.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals.
- Understand and follow warehouse layouts and storage plans.
- Support **logistics** operations by ensuring timely movement of goods.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting.
- Valid reach truck operator certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of **PPE**.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Good spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with logistics** processes.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
