We are seeking an Order Picker for our facility in Columbus, Ohio. This role is vital for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specified items, and preparing them for the next stage of the fulfillment process. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount. This position is part of our core Logistics operations and requires a dedicated individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We prioritize a safe work environment and require all employees to adhere to our Safety protocols and utilize the provided PPE . The role involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing, and performing regular Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging areas efficiently.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within your assigned picking zones.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as directed.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to your supervisor.
- Operate material handling equipment safely when required.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE .
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse Logistics .
- Follow all instructions and procedures carefully.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience, particularly in order picking, is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order documents and labels.
- Basic familiarity with scanning technology.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
- Capability for Lifting items up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
