*Summary*
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards while delivering high-quality care. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to support a positive care experience. Promotes a collaborative, respectful work environment that strengthens teamwork and contributes to a positive culture within the facility.
*Responsibilities*
Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and CT. You will ensure patient safety, maintain equipment, and collaborate with medical staff to provide accurate diagnose. Other essential functions include:
* Perform radiographic procedures according to department and protocols.
* Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging exams.
* Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric as applicable).
* Administer contrast media and medications and establish IV access within scope of practice.
* Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal findings or reactions.
* Verify exam appropriateness and communicate with radiologists or providers as needed.
* Ensure accurate documentation of exams, medications, supplies, and charges.
* Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient identification policies.
* Performs imaging rooms Quality Control testing and report malfunctions promptly.
*Qualifications*
* Education: Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required.
* Licensure: Current Wyoming Radiologic Technologist license (or temporary upon hire) and ARRT certification.
* Work Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in the medical imaging setting is preferred. CT experience preferred; candidates without CT experience may be consider and trained upon hire.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $92,644.44 per year
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
