Find your future with us.The F-22 Raptor Team is seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer (Mid-Level) in Berkeley, MO or Richardson, TX to join the F-22 Raptor Mission Design and Analysis Team with a focus on developing cutting edge engineering solutions to advance the world’s premier air superiority fighter.As a Design and Analysis Engineer (Mid-Level), you will be responsible for developing engineering solutions for the F-22 Raptor, including both enhancing existing field units with the addition of new capabilities, as well as architecting and testing completely new systems. In this role, you will be joining a cross-functional team to progress our products through the development lifecycle. Tasks include developing requirements to support customer needs, designing a networked architecture to enable new capabilities, and authoring test plans and procedures.Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with Responsible Engineers, customer technical staff, suppliers, and Lockheed Martin teammates to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for F-22 avionics sub-systems and weapon system architectureAnalyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs, and interface specifications in support of lab and operational environmentsDefine verification procedures for critical tests of various kinds to validate performance of designs to requirementsReview test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customerBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement5+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical educationAbility to obtain F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearanceThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location optionsCapable of traveling 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):Must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, engaging with multiple teams and being responsive to agile requirements and critical path customer need datesExperience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems roleExperience with agile development methodologiesRelocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
