We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our expanding logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely and correct shipments. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail to maintain the integrity of our inventory and supply chain. You will utilize RF scanners and pick lists to locate and gather products, and then prepare them for the packing and shipping departments. Safety is paramount; adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The role involves significant physical activity, including walking throughout the warehouse, bending, reaching, and consistent lifting of products. Your contribution is vital to the smooth operation of our logistics services. We are looking for team players who are reliable, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to a successful logistics operation. Training on our systems and procedures will be provided. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on orders
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy
- Stage picked items for the packing process
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment
- Comply with all company safety policies and wear required PPE
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counts
- Contribute to achieving daily order fulfillment targets
