Join our thriving logistics team as a Forklift Operator in Seattle, Washington! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that inventory is managed correctly and that orders are fulfilled promptly. You will be responsible for performing daily inspections of your forklift to ensure it is in safe working condition, reporting any mechanical issues immediately. Adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to handle tasks involving significant Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move, stack, and stage inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform Lifting tasks and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
