We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our dedicated team in Kansas City, Missouri! This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately picked and carefully packed for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items from warehouse shelves, verifying quantities, and preparing them for transit. You will work with various tools and equipment to facilitate efficient and accurate order processing. We are looking for individuals who are meticulous, energetic, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position is physically demanding, requiring consistent movement and lifting. Your contribution is vital to our logistics operations and customer satisfaction. We foster a collaborative work environment and provide thorough training to set you up for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Verify item details, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are secure.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain organized workstations and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely (training available).
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Use required PPE consistently and correctly throughout the shift.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as directed.
- Contribute to team goals and a positive work environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order picking and packing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
- Must be able to read and understand order details.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technology.
- Must wear designated PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
