Our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Provo, Utah, is looking for certified and experienced Forklift Operators to join our dedicated team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse, playing a crucial role in our supply chain operations. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to strict safety protocols, and proficiency in operating various types of forklifts. We are committed to ensuring a safe working environment, and all operators must follow safety guidelines meticulously, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Stack and arrange materials in an orderly and secure manner.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
