As a Distribution Center Associate, your responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, operating equipment such as pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will play a crucial part in our logistics chain, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, you will be required to adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE. The role involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting packages up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Perform regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
