We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee our distribution center operations in Orlando, Florida. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods, managing inventory, coordinating staff, and upholding high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership qualities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and staff.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate the receiving and dispatch of goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates.
- Monitor productivity and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure PPE compliance.
- Assist with lifting and moving materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and ensuring a secure working environment.
- Experience with PPE and safety protocols.
