We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is critical for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. A valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation are essential. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and require strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and verification.
- Follow all logistics and material handling procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Knowledge of logistics and material handling equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and reliability.
- Must be committed to safety and the proper use of PPE.
