We are actively recruiting a Picker/Packer for our dynamic warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is essential for ensuring that our customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for efficiently retrieving items from inventory and meticulously packaging them for safe transit. Your attention to detail and ability to work at a steady pace are key to this position. You will contribute directly to our overall Logistics performance and customer satisfaction, making adherence to all Safety protocols a top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Pick items from warehouse shelves based on order forms or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and quality before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare finished packages for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on safety.
- Wear and use all required PPE , such as gloves, safety vests, and eye protection.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to support logistics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking and packing is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Must be capable of Lifting items up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
