We are seeking energetic and reliable Order Pickers to join our warehouse team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve using RF scanners and pick lists to locate products within the warehouse, verifying quantities and item details, and preparing orders for shipment. This role is crucial for the efficiency of our logistics operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction. You'll be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to safety. All employees are expected to strictly follow safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders by identifying items using pick sheets or RF scanners.
- Verify the correct product and quantity for each order before staging.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of required PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Follow all established logistics procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the entire shift.
- Must be capable of regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated understanding of safe lifting practices and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is beneficial.
