This pivotal role involves overseeing inventory, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient workflow within the logistics hub. The Warehouse Coordinator will be instrumental in optimizing storage space, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of all stock.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and on time, maintaining logistics flow.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Maintain records of inventory, shipments, and employee performance.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet operational goals and customer demands.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Ability to handle Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to upholding strict Safety standards and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
