We are looking for an organized and diligent Receiving Clerk to join our San Antonio, Texas logistics team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, responsible for accurately documenting, inspecting, and processing all goods arriving at our warehouse. Your attention to detail is vital for maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly. This role is fundamental to our operations, requiring effective communication and meticulous record-keeping. We maintain a strong focus on safety, so all employees are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and utilize the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While not as physically demanding as some roles, occasional Lifting may be required. If you are detail-oriented and seeking a stable position within the logistics sector, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify quantities against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Document all received items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
