We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our Orlando, Florida warehouse operations. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to manage the flow of goods within our facility. Your duties will include moving, stacking, loading, and unloading inventory, ensuring accuracy and orderliness at all times. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position is vital to our logistics network, ensuring timely processing of materials. The role requires individuals who are attentive, skilled in forklift operation, and dedicated to maintaining a secure and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory items.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage and processing areas.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any defects.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational needs.
- Follow all traffic and pedestrian Safety regulations within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven operational experience.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional moderate Lifting.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Willingness to consistently use all required PPE.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
