We are seeking a versatile Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This dynamic role is central to our supply chain operations, managing both the inbound and outbound flow of goods. You will be responsible for receiving incoming inventory, verifying its accuracy, and stocking it appropriately. Concurrently, you will manage the preparation of outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling orders with precision. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures, coupled with excellent organizational skills, is vital for success. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment and expect all employees to strictly follow established Safety guidelines and protocols. The appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory for all tasks. This role offers a comprehensive experience in logistics and provides opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against order documentation.
- Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations efficiently.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately based on order tickets.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for inventory tracking.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
