Our Portland, Oregon facility is looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage the incoming flow of goods. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for all inbound logistics, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the moment shipments arrive. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately documenting all received items. You will be instrumental in maintaining inventory integrity by promptly and correctly entering data into our warehouse management system. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for success in this role. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is highly valued. Adherence to all safety regulations and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure a secure working environment. This position requires the physical capability of lifting up to 40 pounds regularly and performing tasks that involve standing, walking, and some manual handling.
