Senior Developer (.NET / Azure) Location: Swindon with hybrid working Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 We’re seeking an experienced Senior Developer with a strong Microsoft and Azure background. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and supporting robust, scalable applications and APIs, contributing to both major project work and ongoing BAU programmes. This role suits someone who is technically hands-on, comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, and confident collaborating with internal teams and third-party suppliers. You will also get the opportunity to lead a small team. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft technology stack * Build and operate secure, scalable RESTful Web APIs in Azure * Lead technical delivery across projects and BAU initiatives * Contribute to architectural decisions and technical best practice * Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code Background * Strong background in software development using technologies including: * VB, C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core * MVC / Razor * HTML5, CSS3 (SASS / LESS / SCSS) * JavaScript (e.g. jQuery) * SQL Server Azure & Cloud * Strong proficiency with Azure services, including: * Azure API Management * Azure Functions, Logic Apps DevOps & Security * Proven experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using: * Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions * In-depth understanding of security and identity, including: * Azure AD (Entra ID) API & Engineering Practices * Strong experience designing, securing, and operating RESTful APIs * OpenAPI / Swagger * API versioning, throttling, and caching What’s On Offer * Excellent pension * Flexible working arrangements * Exposure to large-scale Azure platforms * Opportunity to influence technical direction and standards * Supportive, collaborative Agile environment For more information please contact pete @jiyuconsulting .co .uk
