RESPONSIBILITES:
* *General Repair Services:* Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections and repairs, including brake services, exhaust repairs, ball joint replacements, and maintenance work on auction vehicles.
* *Routine Maintenance:* Carry out oil and fluid changes, tire services, and complete vehicle check-ups. Ensure all maintenance procedures follow proper safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
* *BPP Safety Inspections:* Conduct full body, frame, and damage assessments, along with transmission, differential, and overall powertrain inspections. Complete the required safety checklists to verify all work has been properly performed.
* *Frame Inspections:* Inspect vehicle undercarriages to identify cracks, bends, structural damage, or frame weaknesses, ensuring the vehicle meets safety and structural integrity standards.
* *Shop Operations:* Support daily shop duties, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, pulling vehicles into bays, and performing diagnostic test drives to identify repair needs.
* Strong diagnostic skills, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
* Experience with general repairs across *all makes and models*
* Ability to work on *trucks and light-duty commercial vehicles*
* Solid understanding of repair procedures, safety standards, and vehicle systems
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* *310S License*
* High School Diploma or equivalent in education/experience.
* *5+ years of mechanical experience.*
* *Safety Boots*
* Experienced in repair and service of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and components on a variety of vehicles.
* Proven ability as a team player.
* Above average communication and problem-solving skills with positive professional attitude.
* A self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment.
* Computer skills an asset.
* Valid G driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
