We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that orders are prepared correctly and dispatched promptly. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing scanning technology and order sheets to locate and retrieve products. A key aspect of this role is maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency while adhering to all Safety guidelines. Significant Lifting of items, some of which may be heavy, is a daily requirement. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, energetic, and possess a strong work ethic. You will contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to track picked items.
- Ensure the correct quantity and product type are picked.
- Pack selected items securely for shipment.
- Transport picked orders to the packing or shipping station.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed.
- Meet established picking performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Capability for consistent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety protocols and the importance of PPE .
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of Logistics and fulfillment processes.
