Our work is guided by our purpose of elevating customers, shaping lives and protecting the future. About the role In your role as Quality Assurance Manager, you will be expected to
develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and systems to ensure products/services meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements, involving process monitoring, staff training, supplier auditing, data analysis, and driving continuous improvement (CI) in production and operations. Key Job Accountabilities As part of the Leominster Team, you will be responsible for: Strategy & Standards:
Establish quality policies, procedures, and standards, aligning with customer needs and legal requirements. Process Control:
Implement and monitor quality control tests, inspect products at various stages, and oversee production processes. Data & Reporting:
Collect and analyse quality data, create statistical reports, and report findings to senior management. Improvement:
Lead CI initiatives (like Six Sigma), identify weaknesses, and implement changes to boost efficiency and reduce waste. Team Leadership:
Train staff on quality standards, manage quality teams, and foster a quality-focused culture. Stakeholder Liaison:
Work with purchasing, suppliers, other departments, and customers to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements A proven track record in working in a Quality role within a manufacturing organisation Bachelors degree in a related field with
strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, communication, attention to detail and data analysis (desirable) Strong
IT skills and the ability to analyse data Excellent knowledge of industry
standards, quality systems (ISO 900, 14001 & Recyclass certification). Proactive and dynamic approach to health, safety, and environment situations. Good written and presentation skills
Personality/Attributes Adaptable and self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
