Our solutions are used by ten of the world’s largest food retailers, providing real‑time visibility and reporting and allowing customers to manage processes efficiently.
Role Overview The Solutions Engineer will join our Professional Services team based in Northern Ireland (Derry or Belfast). The role focuses on supporting customers as they integrate their systems with the Foods Connected platform, leading technical discussions, clarifying requirements and ensuring delivery excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead customer integration calls with technical stakeholders.
Run discovery workshops to understand customer needs, data structures and integration workflows.
Translate customer requirements into actionable, maintainable solutions using automation tooling, APIs and integration frameworks.
Liaise closely with Product, Engineering and Implementation teams.
Configure, test and validate customer integrations including data mapping, transformation and API connectivity.
Troubleshoot integration issues and provide clear, timely solutions.
Maintain and monitor existing integrations.
Document integration requirements, technical specifications and support materials.
Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer needs.
Continuously improve integration processes to increase scalability, quality and efficiency.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years in a technical, customer‑facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer or Implementation Engineer.
Experience Experience working with SaaS platforms and system integrations.
Technical Skills
APIs and integration protocols such as REST and SOAP.
Data formats including JSON, XML and CSV.
Integration tools, automation platforms or iPaaS solutions.
Basic scripting or programming proficiency in C#, JavaScript or Python.
Understanding of SQL and relational data structures.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams and reviewing technical documentation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
