THE ROLE

Job Overview

Happy Xperiences is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Brand Partnerships Coordinator to drive new business and revenue. This is a hands-on sales role for a "hunter" who thrives on building relationships and closing deals.

We are looking for someone with a true passion for sales, who is excited to be on the front lines, conducting daily outreach to new brands. You will be responsible for selling our full suite of partnership opportunities, including experiential activations, on-site sponsorships, and merchandise collaborations. Your primary goal is to build a robust pipeline and bring new brand partners into the Happy Group and Happy Xperiences world.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily Outreach: Conduct high-volume daily outreach (cold calls, creative emails, LinkedIn) to a target list of prospective brands and their marketing agencies.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Sales Pitching: Clearly articulate the value of our events, pitching creative and compelling opportunities for experiential marketing, on-site activations, and merch sales.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the creative and production teams to develop custom proposals and pitch decks that meet brand objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Proactively network and build relationships with brand managers, sponsorship buyers, and agency contacts.
  • Reporting: Track all sales activities, pipeline progress, and outreach volume for regular reports to leadership.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • A True Passion for Sales: You are driven, resilient, and excited by the hunt. You are not afraid of cold outreach and see "no" as part of the process.
  • Sales Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or brand partnerships role.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be a clear, confident, and professional pitcher.
  • Self-Motivated: A highly organized and proactive "self-starter" who can manage their own time and build a pipeline from scratch.
  • Cultural Interest: A genuine interest in music, culture, and live events.

Preferred (Bonus Skills):

  • Experience in sponsorship, media, or experiential marketing sales.
  • Existing relationships with brand or agency contacts.
  • Experience using a CRM (like Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

Job Details

Job Type: Part-time (with Full-time potential)

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour, DOE

** Bonus Commissions Opportunities

Schedule & Location: This is an on-site position at our Cerritos office. The role is starting as part-time, with a clear path to a full-time position based on performance and success in building a strong sales pipeline.
