Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
- Facilitate age-appropriate lessons that promote childhood development, early intervention strategies, and preschool readiness skills
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for toddlers and preschoolers
- Employ behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instructional approaches accordingly
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about child welfare, milestones, and classroom activities
- Incorporate special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs and foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with classroom experience in early childhood education
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with toddler care practices, literacy education, teaching physical education, and behavior management strategies
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and Montessori methods is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and support tutoring or remedial instruction when necessary
- Certification or credentials in early childhood education or related fields are preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged
