Our tiered product offerings—from SMB to Enterprise—support anywhere from 3 to unlimited sub‑expert models and offer deployment options ranging from multi‑tenant cloud to on‑prem/hybrid setups. We're disrupting how organizations defend against phishing, impersonation and complex workflows, and we need a Sales Engineer who can translate deep technology into business value.

Role Overview

You'll be the technical voice in the sales cycle, articulating the power of Accord and Email Shield to prospects across varied industries (finance, healthcare, legal, supply chain). You'll work alongside our founder, product, integration and data science teams to understand customer needs, design solution architectures and demonstrate how our AI consensus engine and deterministic checks stop threats before they reach users. Since this is a pre‑funding role, you'll also shape our sales processes and play a pivotal part in landing early pilots and reference customers.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Discovery & Demos:
    Lead technical conversations with prospects, uncover use cases and deliver customized demos showing how our AI ensemble and deterministic services integrate into their email and workflow environments.

  • Solution Design:
    Translate business requirements into high‑level integration architectures; collaborate with our integration team to outline how connectors (Microsoft 365 Graph, Gmail, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira, etc.) map Accord Protocol Documents into customer systems.

  • Proof of Concept Leadership:
    Build PoCs and prototypes that show how our real‑time decision aggregation and consensus scoring work across different tiers of our platform; help prospects test latency, accuracy and remediation flows.

  • Feedback Loop:
    Gather product feedback from early pilots; relay insights to product and engineering teams to influence roadmap and prioritize connector development.

  • Documentation & Support:
    Produce solution briefs, integration guides and technical FAQs; assist customer success with onboarding materials, training sessions and support during pilot deployments.

  • Cross‑Functional Liaison:
    Act as the bridge between prospects, integration engineering and data science to ensure deliverables align with both technical feasibility and customer goals.

What You'll Bring

  • Technical Fluency:
    Hands‑on experience with APIs, webhooks, SaaS integrations or SDKs (e.g., Microsoft Graph, Gmail API); ability to write sample code (Python, Go, TypeScript or similar) to demonstrate integrations.

  • Domain Curiosity:
    While experience with email protocols (SMTP, MIME, SPF/DKIM/DMARC) is a plus, a strong willingness to learn is essential; you'll need to understand how our platform intercepts and acts on messages.

  • Sales Acumen:
    Experience supporting enterprise or mid‑market sales cycles as a pre‑sales or solutions engineer; adept at explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Customer Focus:
    Strong discovery skills and empathy requirements.

  • Startup Mindset:
    Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration and wearing multiple hats; excited about building processes and collateral from scratch.
