Requirements:

• West Virginia Master Electrician License with 8+ years of experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A customer-first mindset: ability to explain technical information in a clear, friendly way
• Physical stamina: ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, and perform manual tasks safely

Summary:

As a Licensed Master Electrician, you will perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across both residential and commercial settings. You will work independently and sometimes in a team setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates technical mastery, strong customer service skills, leadership ability, and a drive to continually improve. As a Master Electrician on our team, you will play a critical role in delivering excellent service, mentoring junior electricians or apprentices, and helping our company grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades
• Ensure all work complies with the West Virginia State Electrical Code and local regulations
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues
• Review plans, specifications, and job scopes
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers
• Maintain accurate job documentation and material lists
• Promote a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols
• Maintain high workmanship, cleanliness, and quality standards on every job site
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers: explain issues, present solutions/options, answer questions
• Offer value-add recommendations to customers (upsell where appropriate) and earn commission from those sales
• Collaborate with other divisions (HVAC and Plumbing) where cross-disciplinary work is required
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior technicians and apprentices
