Our Louisville-based operation combines the power of a national brand with the personal attention and responsiveness of a locally owned business. After several years of strong growth, we are expanding and looking for a motivated sales professional to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative who is passionate about winning new business, building strong customer relationships, and growing a long-term sales career. Prior logistics experience is not required—what matters most is your motivation, communication skills, and desire to succeed.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an outbound sales environment, enjoys creating their own opportunities, and wants to be rewarded for results.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new B2B customers through outbound calls, prospecting, networking, and in-person visits
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Understand customer shipping needs and collaborate with operations to deliver customized solutions
  • Manage your sales pipeline and activities using CRM tools
  • Present proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new accounts
  • Support regional growth strategies alongside ownership and leadership
  • Maintain organization, professionalism, and consistent follow-up to achieve sales goals

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience (B2B or B2C)
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close new business
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a competitive mindset and goal-oriented work style
  • Comfortable learning new software systems (CRM, shipping tools, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local client visits
