Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cook to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive culinary expertise *particularly in breakfast*, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Head Cook will play a pivotal role in ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests while managing daily kitchen activities efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards
  • Design attractive food presentations that enhanced the overall dining experience for guests.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
  • Train staff on culinary techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices
  • Coordinate catering events and special dining occasions with attention to detail
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

Requirements

  • Proven experience preparing a wide variety of breakfast/brunch items is preferred ***
  • Extensive background in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
  • Strong knowledge of the food industry, including restaurant or catering experience
  • Exceptional culinary skills with proficiency in knife skills and meal preparation techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen staff effectively and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • A passion for culinary excellence and delivering outstanding guest experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
