Job Summary
Wildflower Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team Flexible hours and customizable schedule. This is currently a part-time position with the possibility to grow into a full time position.

About Us

Wildflower Pediatric Therapy is a new pediatric therapy clinic in the Waterville community. We are excited to provide support to more local families and children. Wildflower is looking for therapists who want to grow with the company and engage in program development.

OT

  • Perform initial and annual evaluations using a combination of standardized and non standardized assessments
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
  • Conduct assessments and document patient progress in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify care plans based on patient needs.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving therapy.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress notes.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices within occupational therapy.

Experience

  • Previous experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required
  • New graduates or upcoming graduates are welcome to apply
  • Licensed as an OT in the state of maine
  • Ability to work independently
  • Motivated and passionate about growing with a new clinic
  • Must pass all background checks
