Job Summary
Join our Danbury, CT Program Management Office (PMO) as a Program Planning & Controls Analyst. This role works closely with Program leadership to plan, schedule, and budget contractual requirements for defense programs of varying size and complexity.
What You Will Do
- Establish complex program plans and conduct in-depth research to define program requirements
- Interface with all levels of the customer, vendors and internal departments to coordinate deliverables, budgets and schedules
- Develop new methods for tracking and reporting program status statistics
- Assemble and compile schedule data and inputs same into the project schedule and provide output to the project manager
- Advise management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, and schedules
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and related technical training with 5+ years directly related experience (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)
- Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling for large programs; defense experience highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar software as a planning tool
- Familiarity with Earned Value or a related business process
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to work across all levels of the organization
U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
