Here at Stone Bridge Traffic Control, we're looking for dependable, alert, and hard-working individuals to join our growing team as Flaggers (Traffic Control Agents). Schedule: Monday – Friday, up to 40 hours/week

• Hours vary based on weather and project demands throughout the year
• Winter season: Hours may be reduced
• Overtime may be available during peak seasons

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the utility work crew to ensure safe traffic movement around the work zone in compliance with safety regulations.
• Flag motorists and vehicles to alert them to obstacles or ongoing repairs.
• Maintain safety for both the work zone and passing vehicles at all times.
• Set up traffic control devices (signs, cones, barricades) as needed per job assignment.
• Direct traffic flow in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
• Clear and professional communication with clients, co-workers and general public.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle — must be able to travel to and from job sites (some sites may be up to 2 hours away)
• Smartphone — used for schedules, communication, and check-ins
• Strong communication skills — flaggers stay in constant contact with the crew
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather
