Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Assist customers in selecting hardware products, including tools, electronics, and related accessories, by understanding their needs and offering tailored recommendations.
• Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Promote upselling opportunities by suggesting complementary items or upgrades that enhance the customer's purchase experience.
• Operate the point of sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to ensure product availability and visual appeal.
• Manage inventory by conducting regular stock checks, restocking shelves, and assisting with inventory counts.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely.
• Support store operations by assisting with cashiering duties, basic math calculations for transactions, and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures.
• Engage in ongoing product knowledge training to stay current on new hardware offerings and industry trends.

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in electronics or grocery store environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical products clearly and confidently.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, merchandising, stocking, and retail math is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are beneficial for supporting team initiatives.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed during stocking or display setup.
